Tasting Room

Since setting up production at Wildair Farm in 2011 we’ve done lots, but one thing we haven’t done is built a tasting room.

Wildair Farm is a working horse farm about 15 minutes outside of Charlottesville in Free Union, Virginia. It is a gorgeous place, but out of respect for the other farm activities occurring on the farm, we’ve decided to make our tasting room mobile. That’s why when we saw a 1965 Airstream for sale, we picked it like a ripe apple.

Since then, we’ve been working hard to convert the Airstream into the ultimate mobile tasting room. In the meantime, we’ve been setting up Pop-Up style all over Charlottesville. If you subscribe to our events on Facebook (here) you’ll get invitations to all of our events.

Oh, and once you’ve done that you should totally check out our Instagram. We regularly post updates of the Airstream or the #Ciderstream as we’ve been calling it lately!

Our Airstream is Famous!

Big thanks to the folks at Airstream for writing about our renovation project! Read the whole story at:

Pop-Up Tasting Room!

Our first Pop-Up Tasting Room was a great success! Thanks to all who came out to taste our new and limited-release ciders. Folks had a great time hanging out on such a beautiful fall day, listening to tunes and enjoying ciders by the glass from our custom barrel-draft system. We look forward to hanging with you all again on 10/25 and 10/26, this time we hope to bring out our 1965 Airstream Trailer so that you can get a sneak preview on our mobile tasting room progress up to this point.

Coming Soon: Airstream Tasting Room!

We have been hard at work converting a 31′ 1965 Airstream Trailer into the Potter’s Craft Cider tasting room! So far, we have gutted the interior and stripped it down to its bare bones. Next steps are to replace the floor, seal interior seams, insulate, and run new electrical wiring.

For the interior, we are working with a fantastic woodworker, Brian Wilkes of Lost Mountain Woodcrafts. With Brian’s help, we will be building a beautiful reclaimed wood bar.

Needless to say, we are VERY excited about this project! Please stay tuned for more information and updates on our progress. In the meantime, please check our our Events page for information on where to catch us including our Pop-Up Tasting Room where we will be featuring limited and small batch ciders that you can’t find anywhere else.
